• • Utah State Board of Education does not collect teacher salary schedules, but they are published on  Utah Education Association (UEA).

Classroom Supplies

School Fees

School Fees are in place to preserve equal opportunity for all students and to limit diversion of money and school and staff resources from the basic school program.

R277-407 Board Rule School Fees permits the orderly establishment of a system of reasonable fees; provide adequate notice to students and families of fees and fee waiver requirements; and prohibit practices that would: exclude those unable to pay from participation in school-sponsored activities; or create a burden on a student or family as to have a detrimental impact on participation.

53 G-7-5 Student Fees section of Utah code notifies that public schools are to be free, gives definitions, prohibitions, penalties, enforcement, waivers, appeals, approvals, notices and fees in context of purchasing textbooks.
