Christina Boggess is an accomplished educator, organizational leader, and state-level policymaker with nearly 25 years of professional experience spanning elementary, middle, and secondary education. Her career reflects breadth and adaptability, encompassing rural K–12 systems, suburban and urban districts, inner-city schools, and both cluster-modeled and podded instructional designs. She has served in Title I environments and in high-performing, top-tier institutions, consistently demonstrating the ability to drive improvement, innovation, and sustainable results across diverse contexts.
Throughout her career, Boggess has been recognized for exemplary leadership and professional excellence. Her work has earned multiple first-place state awards and personal accolades, and she has been invited to serve as an adjudicator for state-level academic and performing arts competitions. In addition to classroom and program leadership, she has contributed to system-wide improvement efforts as a member of PBIS and MTSS teams and as a professional development trainer in English Language Arts, Music, and Arts Integration. Her approach blends instructional rigor with humor.
Boggess holds more than twenty educational credentials across multiple states, including extensive licensure and endorsements. Her academic preparation is both deep and multidisciplinary. In addition to two undergraduate degrees, she has earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership, a Master of Arts in English Language Learning, and a Master of Science in Management and Leadership. She is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration, expected early in 2026, and is engaged in doctoral-level studies in education. This advanced preparation informs her capacity to integrate strategic planning, instructional improvement, financial stewardship, and accountability at the system level.
As a member of the Utah State Board of Education, Boggess sits on the Finance and Audit Committees. In this role, she has authored policies, contributed to governance infrastructure, championed legislative measures focused on freedom, accountability and data privacy, and supported initiatives designed to strengthen educational systems statewide. Her tenure on the Board has been marked by her willingness to engage complex policy issues directly and to call for reform where she believes systems can better serve students, educators, and communities.
Across all roles, Boggess is known for her commitment to integrity, accountability, and high professional standards. Her leadership philosophy is grounded in the conviction that every student deserves meaningful opportunity and that every educator deserves clarity, support, and respect coupled with accountability.
